why is it that when people see that you are crazy committed to fitness they feel the need to tell you why they can’t do it? I don’t need your excuses, I have a million of my own, thanks anyway. I have seen people at races with canes, in wheelchairs, with a leg missing, covered head to toe in burned, scarred skin and I have read about people qualifying for Boston at age 93 or finishing Xterra tri blind. There will always be excuses, stop complaining and MOVE! Or at least stop telling those of us who are doing it that we just have more free time or we’re just so lucky. I sacrifice to do this!! It is hard, uncomfortable, painful and sometimes heartbreaking, but it has made my life richer and more amazing than I ever thought possible! As it turns out happiness is hard work, no way around it!
